Discovery Driver Portal ("the App") is an internal fleet management tool operated by Discovery Automotive. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.
The App is intended solely for authorized employees of Discovery Automotive. Account access is provisioned by an administrator and is not available to the general public.
Name and Email Address
Your name and email address are used to create and identify your account within the App. This information is provided by your employer and is used exclusively for authentication and display purposes.
Precise Location
When you start a trip, the App collects your precise GPS location to track mileage and drive time, and to display your location to authorized administrators on the Live Drivers map. Location data is only collected while a trip is active and is deleted from our servers when the trip ends.
All data collected is used exclusively for business operations within Discovery Automotive — specifically for trip tracking, mileage calculation, earnings management, and fleet oversight. We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to your employment.
We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal information to third parties. Your data is stored securely in our database (Supabase) and is accessible only to authorized administrators within Discovery Automotive.
Live location data is deleted from our servers at the end of each trip. Trip history and earnings records are retained for business and payroll purposes in accordance with company policy.
All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to the database is protected by row-level security policies that restrict each user to their own data.
